The Red Lychee looks like the wrinkly grandparent to a strawberry, but once opened you will quickly realize there is no relation whatsoever. The official flavour of Lychee is up for debate, but most people say it has floral pear, watermelon and grape notes. You're going to want to tear the bumpy red skin off, push the single seed out of the middle and enjoy your odd white blob of floral juice.
Preparation Ideas: Cut them in half and enjoy the refreshing and floral flavour. Or try something new like covering them in honey, butter and cinnamon and caramelizing them in the oven. Then enjoying them with some ice cream. Or on their own.
