Not that we would know, but we can say with 99.99% certainty that these plums do not taste like turtles. The Turtle Egg Plum gets its name from the simple fact that they are about the same size as a turtle egg. It's some real Aussie stuff, but hey, we are all here for it.
These plums are incredibly large, crisp and sweet. The skin has very little tartness, and the flesh is firm, yet juicy. We are pleased to call the Turtle Egg Plum a damn near perfect plum.
